His treats and habits #3

-Snowmax-

The picture above is from out first year together, out first winter and first snow as well. We had a lot of snow that year (and few after that as well) and it was really fun to play together. It was still snowing when we were outside, clearing up the snow a bit, running behind the house and from the big pile of snow we were making igloo for him. We used leaves to write his name on the top of the entrance. Really good times and he is always really excited to jump around through the snow.

I think it was last year when we had around 30cm of snow, he didn't leave only paw trails but made a whole path as his legs were smaller than the snow so all we saw from the whiteness was his head and tail. Cute really.

This winter we didn't have snow yet, until this week when the nature decided to decorate out world in a bit of white. He had so much to do in that bit of snow. All smelled and I teased him to find something in the snow so he dug in the bit of snow. What didn't change during the years was his curiousity and liveliness to run around and sniff around. What did change was the time he spends outside. If you remember I wrote that he likes to lie on the sun. He loves warmth and in snow, he gets easily cold. He soon runs to the door of the fence, waiting for me. He shivers sometimes or holds his paw up. Sweetie, we go inside and I hold his paws a bit, they are really cold. We sometimes wash his paws because of salt from the road and sometimes apply natural coconut oil on his paws. Little care for little boy.

And lastly, below are pictures from last week. A bit of playing around.
