Dragon, symbol of power, courage and greatness is what you find almost anywhere you look in Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital city. Its greatness is mostly visible on a Dragon bridge over river Ljubljanica. The bridge is decorated by four large dragons like the one above.
As for more sights of old parts of Ljubljana, here are some pictures through the seasons.
The following pictures go along towards the center, further from the Dragon bridge. The next bridge is full of locks filled with love. Couples, friends, if you feel like locking your relationship, this is a place to do it. Same bridge has two large statues as one shown below.
If we follow the river still towards the old downtown, we reach Tromostovje (Three bridges) where is also a statue of our poet France Prešeren with his muse.
I wait for Christmas time here. Along the river will be many stalls and many lights already brighten up the darkness. It is really pretty.
Lastly, two more pictures along Ljubljanica in the same direction as before, now leaving the Tromostovje, letting the river lead us.
I usually walk this path so I'm making many pictures through the seasons. It is a small taste for those who didn't visit Ljubljana yet.
